Service Learning (meeting 4)

For service learning this week we talked about ways to help the homeless. We decided to make hygiene packets to pass out to them. We also went for a walk around the block to see how many homeless people we would see. We only seen three I guess they relocated or something. I think that this is going to be very helpful to them. I enjoy helping the less fortunate, it makes me feel like a better person.

Service learning (meeting 3)

At the meeting on friday we went to the federal reserve bank. We went to an exhibit. It talked about money, the great depressions and many other useful ideas. Some of the events were kind of relatives to todays society. Homeless people are homeless because they have no jobs and don't really apply themselves. The banks exhibit consisted of lots of money exhibits. There was a large container with over a million dollars in shredded money and there was ova a million dollars in five dollar bills sitting out for display. I enjoyed this experience but i don't understand how people can shred money when there are so many people in need of it.

Service learning

The first meeting for service learning was interesting. People had many great idea to share. Some people don't think being around homeless people is such a great idea because of the diseases they may have because of lack of medical attention. I think helping the homeless is a great idea.

Progress In Science Class

♥ So in the beginning of the semester I was not doing do good in Science. Science is by far one of my worse subjects. I was not really interested in the subject so I failed to complete my assignments which resulted in a grade of a low "C" {Unacceptable}. So I began to make a chance in my behavior. I began to do all my work. Participation in class began to increase. Now I'm fully focused and my current grade is between believe a "B+" and a "A-". I'm so proud of my Progress in Science Class. ♥

NHD Revelation

My NHD project was about Welfare rights. I learned a lot of new things about welfare. The Welfare system was once very easy to abuse but changes in the system made it more difficult to abuse. I personally think that welfare is a very helpful program and it is very beneficial. I think that doing a documentary was easy once we got all the information together. Overall I think That the project was not as dificult as i thought
